Lance Corporal Tom Dunderdale

Tom Dunderdale was the son of Joseph Abbott Dunderdale and Mary Elizabeth Yates. He was born in 1895 in either Thorne or Keadby nr Scunthorpe, I am not sure. He joined the army and fought in the first world war. He was a Lance Corporal 9865 6th Battalion, Lincolnshire Regiment. While he was fighting in Gallipoli, Turkey he was killed, aged 20 years old. He is remembered with honour on the Helles Memorial Gallipoli, and on the war memorial at Althorpe a small village near Keadby.
